Baseball Recap: Madeira Comes Up Short

Madeira was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colerain Cardinals.

Madeira's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Colerain, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-21.

Madeira does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colerain, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Walnut Hills at 12:00 p.m.
