Jurupa Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Costa Mesa proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 victory over the Jaguars. Costa Mesa's win was all the more impressive since the Jaguars were averaging only 28.85 points allowed on the season.

Costa Mesa's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Myah Martinez, who posted 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 41 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Terry, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.
