Soccer Recap: Lake Takes a Loss

Lake managed to keep up with Maumee until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Flyers came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-1. Lake haven't had much luck with Maumee recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Lake's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Maumee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Lake has already played their next game (against Bowling Green), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Maumee, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Clay on the 13th.
