They took a blow against the Falcons, falling 68-39. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-17.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-18, which was the final score in Escondido's tilt against San Marcos on Friday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Santa Fe Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Escondido, their loss dropped their record down to 4-9.
