If Texas School for the Deaf wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Veritas Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Evie Vimont. Veritas Academy walked away with a 2-0 win over Texas School for the Deaf on Friday with plenty of help from Vimont, who had 19 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Veritas Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-8. As for Texas School for the Deaf, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5-1.

Veritas Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against First Baptist Academy on the 23rd. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Concordia on the 23rd.
