Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX). The Angels come into the non-league challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Incarnate Word Academy New Braunfels Thunder (New Braunfels, TX), 1-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rangers meet the Concordia Cardinals (Round Rock, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Texas School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Faith Academy (Marble Falls, TX).
