Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Texas School for the Deaf Rangers (Austin, TX), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Veritas Academy improves its record to 9-18 on the season. The host Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX) to face the Eagles in a TAPPS 4A District 4 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 15-11. Brazos Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Navasota (Navasota, TX)

The Rangers now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vanguard College Prep for a TAPPS 4A District 4 test on Tuesday, September 23. Texas School for the Deaf will face a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Round Rock Christian Academy (Round Rock, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 3-10.
