Softball Recap: Pataula Charter Academy Has No Trouble Against Randolph-Clay

Pataula Charter Academy won the last time they faced Randolph-Clay and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers blew past the Red Devils 20-5. Considering the Panthers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Kayleigh Berry, who went 2-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zyion Clark, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Pataula Charter Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Randolph-Clay, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Pataula Charter Academy will face off against rival Southwest Georgia STEM Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Randolph-Clay is set to take on their familiar foe Early County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
