While Waukomis put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Medford. The Chiefs put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 8-0 victory. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Waukomis is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Medford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waukomis will venture away from home to square off against Fairview at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Medford, they will head out to challenge Frontier at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
