Basketball Recap: Lansdale Catholic Crusaders vs. Neumann-Goretti Saints
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lansdale Catholic can now relate to. They fell just short of the Neumann-Goretti Saints by a score of 48-45 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-54 back in January.
Neumann-Goretti's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amya Scott, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. What's more, Scott racked up six assists, the most she's had since back in January. Carryn Easley was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.
