After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillsdale, Sequoia was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They won by a run and slipped past the Los Altos Eagles 6-5. This was payback for the Ravens, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Mario Fausto made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
