Softball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Milford was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They lost 9-2 to the York Dukes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 9-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Milford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blair Troyer, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run.

Milford now has a losing record of 5-6. As for York, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Milford has already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against Freeman on the 6th. As for York, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-5 defeat against Twin River on the 6th.
