Softball Recap: Marion County's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marion County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bevier Wildcats 9-7. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Marion County's win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion County will head out to square off against Mark Twain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bevier, they will square off against Linn County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
