Soccer Recap: Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Central lost against Corvallis back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 2-0 to the Spartans. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while Corvallis are ranked 25th).

This is the second loss in a row for Central and nudges their season record down to 1-10. As for Corvallis, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 10-0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Central is set to take on their familiar foe Lebanon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Corvallis will challenge rival Crescent Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
