Sterling had won two straight games and Zane Farney did his part to make it three on Friday. The Black Bears came out on top against the Inman Inman Teutons by a score of 60-47 thanks in part to Farney, who rushed for 222 yards and five scores while picking up 12.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 114 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Sterling's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Inman, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Sterling will challenge Ellinwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Inman, they will host Remington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
