Soccer Game Preview: Lompoc vs. Central Valley Christian

The Lompoc Braves will square off against the Central Valley Christian Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lompoc is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They came out on top against Frontier by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Central Valley Christian hasn't lost a match since January 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They blew past Cabrillo 3-0. Considering the Cavaliers have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Cabrillo with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cooper Piepgrass, Emerson Kroeze, and Ava Gambini.

Central Valley Christian pushed their record up to 13-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Lompoc, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season.
