Recap: Mt. Pleasant Cardinals vs. San Jose Bulldogs
The Mt. Pleasant Cardinals can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They blew past San Jose 62-31 on the road. The win was nothing new for Mt. Pleasant as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Snowe DeLeon was her usual excellent self, scoring 33 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Perez, who scored nine points.
Mt. Pleasant's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for San Jose, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant will take on James Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mt. Pleasant and James Lick are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for San Jose, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gunderson at 6:00 p.m. San Jose is facing Gunderson at the right time seeing as Gunderson is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
