Basketball Recap: Knoch Has No Trouble Against Derry

Knoch won the last time they faced Derry and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Knoch Knights' way against the Derry Trojans as the Knoch Knights made off with a 44-24 win. The Knights pushed the score to 38-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans cut but never quite recovered from.

Knoch is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Derry, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Knoch and Derry could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Knoch will face off against North Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 277 places (330 vs. 53). Similarly, Derry (ranked 660th) will meet Oakland Catholic (ranked 88th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
