Baseball Recap: West Geauga Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakeside on Monday, West Geauga came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell just short of the Streetsboro Rockets by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.

West Geauga's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8-1. As for Streetsboro, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.

West Geauga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Streetsboro, they will face off against Marlington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dukes have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
