Volleyball Game Preview: St. Stephens Indians vs. Foard Tigers

The St. Stephens Indians will take on the Foard Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Stephens is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times St. Stephens and Alexander Central have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Indians came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17, 25-8.

Foard hadn't beaten Bandys on the road since August 19, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Foard never let Bandys on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-23.

Foard pushed their record up to 9-8 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for St. Stephens, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
