Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Albuquerque Academy). They put the hurt on the Valley Vikings with a sharp 10-0 victory on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for Albuquerque Academy, who have now won five matches in a row.

Their offense was hitting Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cruz Tomori led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for six goals all by himself.

Albuquerque Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-5-3. As for Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Albuquerque Academy and Valley will both be playing Hope Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Chargers will host the Huskies at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
