University City waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Calexico Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

University City hit Calexico with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sofia Christensen, Anya Chumakova, and Chandler Segal.

University City's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Calexico, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-9 record this season.

University City will take on Escondido Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Escondido Charter will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something University City surely won't give up without a fight. Calexico will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilltop at 6:00 p.m. on March 7th.
