Football Game Preview: Tolono Unity Rockets vs. Prairie Central Hawks + How To Watch

The Tolono Unity Rockets will head out to challenge the Prairie Central Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tolono Unity's defense has only allowed 11.6 points per game this season, so Prairie Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Friday, Tolono Unity took their matchup with ease, bagging a 47-7 victory over Pontiac. Considering the Rockets have won four games by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Tolono Unity's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dane Eisenmenger, who threw for 285 yards and four TDs while completing 80% of his passes. Another rusher making a difference was Crewe Eckstein, who rushed for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten carries.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Tolono Unity proved: they limited Pontiac to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. The Rockets didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged six.

Meanwhile, Prairie Central was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They snuck past Illinois Valley Central with a 20-14 victory. The win almost wasn't to be: the Hawks were down 14-0 in the second quarter.

Prairie Central pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.0 points on average over those games. As for Tolono Unity, their record now sits at 4-1.
