Baseball Recap: Apalachee Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Apalachee's offense. They came up short against the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldoggs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Apalachee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Winder-Barrow, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Coming up, Apalachee will challenge Loganville at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Loganville will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Apalachee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winder-Barrow, they will face off against Jackson County at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. Jackson County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
