Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Villa Rica

Villa Rica barely beat Bowdon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 11-4 victory on Tuesday. The Wildcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Peyton Harrison spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Villa Rica got a massive performance out of Parker Harrison, who fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Helaina Magistro, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Villa Rica's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Villa Rica will venture away from home to face off against South Paulding at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bowdon, they will head out to take on Troup County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
