Soccer Recap: Port of Los Angeles Comes Up Short

Port of Los Angeles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Harbor Teacher Monarchs. The Polar Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Monarchs earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Port of Los Angeles' loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Harbor Teacher, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-1.

Port of Los Angeles wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Locke on the 24th. Harbor Teacher has also already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against King/Drew on the 24th.
