Basketball Recap: Valor Academy Takes a Loss

Valor Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 25-17 to the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-18 back in January.

Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology was led to victory by Heidi Lombera and Selena Rodriguez. Lombera posted nine points and eight steals, while Rodriguez dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Rodriguez a new career-high in boards.

Valor Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology, their record is now 12-5.

As of now, neither Valor Academy nor Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology have any future games scheduled.
