Softball Recap: Oskaloosa Comes Up Short

Oskaloosa was the 12-2 winner over Creston when they last played one another back in June of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians came up short against the Panthers on Saturday, falling 12-5.

Oskaloosa dropped their record down to 8-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Creston, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Looking ahead, Oskaloosa will venture away from home to face off against Norwalk at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Indians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Creston, they have already played their next game, a 9-2 win against Wayne on the 21st.
