  Tyler Crapps made a big impact no matter where he played. He  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned run off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Crapps was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing five bases while going 2-for-3. Crapps is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.
 In other batting news, Cross Creek got a  massive  performance out of  Jordan Frazier, who  scored two  runs and  stole four bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Frazier is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  stolen two or more in the last three games he's  played.  Benjamin Johnson was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing five bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Cross Creek and  bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Cross Creek beat Salem by a score of  16-1.
