Soccer Game Preview: Los Osos vs. Upland

The Los Osos Grizzlies will square off against the Upland Highlanders/Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Los Osos came up short against Chino Hills and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that the Grizzlies have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Upland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rancho Cucamonga a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Highlanders/Scots, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Upland's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Los Osos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7-1.
