Recap: Penncrest Lions vs. Collegium Charter Cougar
The Penncrest Lions won the last time they faced the Collegium Charter Cougar, and things went their way on Friday too. Penncrest really took it to Collegium Charter for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-26 victory on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Penncrest.
Collegium Charter's loss came despite strong showings from Ciani Hamilton and Nasira Towles. Hamilton dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds, while Towles scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hamilton has scored all season.
Even though they lost, Collegium Charter were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Penncrest's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Collegium Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
