Basketball Recap: Rubidoux Takes a Loss

Rubidoux was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 57-13 loss at the hands of the Ramona Rams. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-5.

Olivia Molina continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ramona, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. With that strong performance, Molina is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Tibbels, who posted 15 points along with five boards and four steals.

Rubidoux's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Ramona, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Rubidoux Falcons face off against the La Sierra Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ramona, they will challenge Patriot at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ramona is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.
