Soccer Recap: Ames Wins Going Away Against Davis County

Ames kept a clean sheet against Davis County on Tuesday. They blew past the Mustangs 6-0. The result was nothing new for Ames, who have now won ten matches by three goals or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ames and bumps their season record up to 14-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two games. As for Davis County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ames will venture away from home to square off against Roosevelt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Roosevelt will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Ames surely won't give up without a fight. As for Davis County, they will head out to face off against Pella at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
