Football Recap: Southern Bulldogs vs. Centennial Eagles
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Centennial Eagles 58-0. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Southern got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Vinny Zimmerman out in front who threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Zimmerman has posted since back in October of 2024. Wesley Kaloz helped Zimmerman out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards and one score.
Southern didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brett Apperson and Myles Money. Apperson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
