Volleyball Recap: Marshfield's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marshfield entered their tilt with Willard on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tigers. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Marshfield was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (89-88), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 13-25, 25-18.

Ava Simpson and Kylin Vandever certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Simpson had 12 digs and one assist, while Vandever had 12 digs. Vandever has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Marshfield's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Marshfield will square off against Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Willard, they will venture away from home to face off against Kickapoo at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
