Basketball Recap: Brockway Triumphs

Kane came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Brockway, but Sophia Morrison wouldn't allow it. The Brockway Rovers managed a 47-42 win over the Kane Wolves on Tuesday thanks in part to Morrison, who posted 20 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Those 20 points gave her a new career-high.

Kane's loss came despite strong showings from Addison Haight and Alexa Olmstead. Haight dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards, while Olmstead scored 16 points. Haight has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last eight times she's played. Olivia Bell was another key player, putting up two points and 13 rebounds.

Brockway's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Kane, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brockway will take on Ridgway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Kane, they will square off against Johnsonburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
