Soccer Game Preview: Worth County vs. Brantley County

The Worth County Rams will square off against the Brantley County Herons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Things were looking good for Worth County after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Sumter County who was credited with the victory. Sumter County got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Worth County's three. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brantley County headed into their last game having not scored more than one goal for four straight, but Treutlen let them put that streak behind them. Brantley County blew past Treutlen 5-1 on Tuesday. Jesus Rios was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Brantley County moved to 1-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Worth County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
