Volleyball Recap: Kokomo Comes Up Short

Kokomo lost against Harrison back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildkats lost 3-0 to the Raiders. The Wildkats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Kokomo took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-10, 25-14.

Bella Richards paced Kokomo's offense, picking up four kills. Richards got some help from Torre Willis and her five assists. Richards was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Kokomo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Harrison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Kokomo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Logansport on the 2nd. As for Harrison, they are taking a road trip to square off against West Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
