Soccer Recap: San Marcos Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, San Marcos was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Rio Mesa Spartans finished up their contest with a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

With that draw, San Marcos' record moves to 4-1-1. As for Rio Mesa, they moved theirs to 0-3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Marcos will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Calabasas at 4:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Rio Mesa will take on Foothill Tech in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rio Mesa's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
