Soccer Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World and Marshall squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rim of the World had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Marshall Eagles by a score of 2-1. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Fighting Scots couldn't quite close it out.

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Rim of the World nor Marshall have any future games scheduled.
