Softball Recap: Elkhorn South Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Elkhorn

Elkhorn South faced Elkhorn in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Storm fell just short of the Antlers by a score of 4-3. The Storm were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Antlers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Isabelle Jackson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Elkhorn South has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-11 record this season. As for Elkhorn, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-12.

As of now, neither Elkhorn South nor the Antlers have any future games scheduled.
