Valwood got themselves on the board against Deerfield-Windsor on Tuesday, but Deerfield-Windsor never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 12-0 win. The Valiants haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Valwood let Ella Blease and Devin Williams run wild. Blease went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Williams got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. Blease is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abi Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Valwood always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. They are 8-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Valwood's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Deerfield-Windsor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Valwood will be playing at home against Tiftarea Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Deerfield-Windsor, they will venture away from home to challenge Cairo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
