Basketball Recap: Montgomery's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Montgomery was the 49-47 winner over Maria Carrillo when they last played one another on January 7th, but their luck changed this time around. The Montgomery Vikings took a 41-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maria Carrillo Pumas on Thursday. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Montgomery's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7. As for Maria Carrillo, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montgomery will face off against Redwood at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maria Carrillo, they will challenge Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
