Softball Recap: Statesboro Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Statesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Richmond Hill Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-7 last Thursday.

Statesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Richmond Hill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Statesboro and Richmond Hill will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Blue Devils will take on rival Brunswick at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Richmond Hill is set to square off against their familiar foe Colquitt County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
