Soccer Recap: Garces Memorial Triumphs

With a playoff win on the line, Garces Memorial rose to the challenge on Saturday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Garces Memorial Rams who were credited with the victory. The Garces Memorial Rams got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Clovis North Broncos's two. The Rams' winning goal came courtesy of Karra Damato.

Garces Memorial's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Clovis North, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.

Garces Memorial didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 victory against Sanger on the 19th. Clovis North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
