Softball Recap: Lithonia Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Lithonia's offense. They came up short against the Douglass Astros on Wednesday, falling 17-0. The Bulldogs' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Lithonia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Douglass, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Lithonia will take on Clarkston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Douglass, they will square off against Cedar Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.08 runs per game on average), something the Astros will no doubt try to take advantage of.
