Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Starr's Mill proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Lions 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Starr's Mill and bumps their season record up to 16-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Central, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-3.

Starr's Mill will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
