Baseball Recap: Banneker Takes a Loss

Banneker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the McIntosh Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 last Wednesday.

Banneker's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for McIntosh, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-12.

Banneker will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dutchtown at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for McIntosh, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Ola at 1:00 p.m.
