Rockmart barely beat North Cobb Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Yellowjackets blew past the Eagles 12-4 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Rockmart, bringing their record up to 20-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for North Cobb Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockmart will take on Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Cobb Christian, they will square off against North Murray at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
