Soccer Game Preview: Carter vs. Arcadia

The Carter Lions will head out on the road to take on the Arcadia Apaches at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Carter hadn't beaten Summit on the road since November 29, 2017 but that history sure didn't bother them last Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lions who were credited with the win. Carter got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Summit's two. Carter's winning goal came courtesy of Mya Davis.

Last Tuesday, Arcadia was able to grind out a solid victory over Crescenta Valley, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Arcadia.

Carter's record now sits at 12-3-1. As for Arcadia, their record is now 11-8-3.
